Week of Twitter

Who knew this day would come that people would trade livestock, create friendships, or even find the certain someone over the internet? I always thought that these social networks were crazy ideas that I swore I would never use. Now you can find me on facebook or even at http://twitter.com/Ryanschneider48.
This week of twitter has been quit the learning experience. I have never seen myself as much of a computer whiz, but compared to my dad I am a genius when it comes to a computer. My life in social networks started when I was in high school and my younger cousin thought that I needed to get facebook so she set me up with an account. For about a year I hardly even got on because I didn’t know how to use it and I pry only accumulated five posts. Then I found facebooks chat option, and learned that I could talk instantly with any of my friends that were currently online. This is started to get me on to facebook more often. Now that I am at college it seems like I am always going to my facebook account mainly because I tend to have more free time in the day and I still want to get on and see who I can chat with back in my home town, also facebook has let me keep in touch with my friends from high school that have went off to different colleges.  Now I thought this blog was suppose to be about twitter, so when it came to my week of twitter it became very hard for me to switch to another social network because it takes me so long to get use to and grow accustom to.  So this week was kind of hard for me to get figured out, but it all went nice smooth so I guess it wasn’t all that bad.

  6. lol, I know exactly what you mean. I hardly used facebook when I first got it because I really didn't understand how to, and what the appeal of it was. But now that I do, its hard to stay away sometimes.

  7. I can totally relate to you with your dad knowing nothing about computers. My dad doesn't even have a computer, much less know how to use one.
